LOANS AND DONATIONS. x WELLINGTON, March 20. The total of interest-free loans and donations is now £1,264,928. The latest list includes £IOOO eacli from W. E. Woods;. Ltd. (AVellington), Byron Brown (Wellington) and the. Odlm Timber and Hardware Company, for the duration of the war and six months afterwards, AA'ardell Brothers, for the duration and 12 months, and AY. Yandle (Putaruru) for the duration of the war; also £SOO from Ivan B. Logan, of Napier, for the duration and six months. A resident of Manakuu who desires to remain anonymous has offered a loan of £SO ior the duration and six months. Tho Carterton Golf Club has decided to forward to the Government a loan of £SO free of interest for the duration of the war and six months after. The trustees of tho New Plymouth Savings Bank have made available to the Minister of Finance £SOOO as an interest-free loan for the duration of the wir and twelve months afterwards.
