BUNNYTHORPE INSTITUTE.

FLOWER SHOW. The Bunnythorpe AA'omon's Institute held itfe fimt flower and produce show in the Hall on Saturday afternoon and evening, and arc to be congratulated on its success. The display of flowers and vegetables was a credit to the district and gave the ball a gay appearance. There was a large number of entries. The ladies in charge of the display and the stalls carried out their duties well, and the president (.Mrs 0. Jackson) and the secretary (Mrs M. F. Harris) left nothing wanting to make the show a success. At the official opening, Mrs Jackson referred to the untiring efforts of the committee and also thanked all who had assisted, especially Mr F. Mason for his exhibit, which was a feature of the show. She called on Mrs Lynch, of Linton, a member of the Women’s Institutes’ executive to declare the show open. Airs Lynch thanked the Bunnythorpe Institute for the invitation to carry out this duty. She referred to the local institute’s first show as revealing what coidd be obtained by a special effort, and spoke of the work being carried out by the institutes throughout the district.
