(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Jan. 29. Air W. D. .Madden, son of Mr and Mrs J. Madden, who lias been employed in the locomotive department of the railways at Napier for the past eighteen months, has been transferred on promotion to Wairoa. Mr and Airs It. Chevesou, of Fcatherstoii, and Airs H. Ford, of Palmerston North, who have been visiting Airs O. Fitt, have returned home. Alius Al. The late Mrs Boyle, who was 43 years of age, was a daughter of Mr and the late Mrs H. Hartley, of Alanawatu Heads.
