JAPANESE BOMB CITY. Received October 9, 1.35 p.m. HONG KONG, Oct. 8. The Japanese claim to have occupied the strategic city of Shekki completing their conquest of the Chungshan district.
A dozen ’planes bombed the city, which was reduced to ruins before it surrendered.
