BOOKMAKING CHARGE.
ACTING FOR lIIS PRINCIPAL. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Oct, 9. Francos Joseph Beel, charged with bookmaking, was fined £25. Jt was stated that until recently defendant had been acting as clerk for a bookmaker who had left the Dominion temporarily. Since then Beel had taken the risk of carrying on the business himself.
