BRITAIN’S SYMPATHY.
f EXPRESSED TO RUMANIA. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 22. The British Govenunent, on receipt { of the news of M. Calinescu's death, immediately, sent to the Rumanian Government an expression of sincere and heartfelt condolence in the great loss Rumania has suffered. Mr Chamberlain also sent the following message to the acting-President of the Council: “I have been deeply shocked by the tragic news of the assassination of M. Calineseu, and wish j to express my most sincere sympathy in the great loss which Rumania has i suffered.”
