FORCE FOR OVERSEAS.
NO DECISION YET. '; (By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) vViiELIiNGrUN, Sept. 25. No decision lias been made by the New Zealand Government to v send military. torces overseas. This was made clear by the actingPrime Minister (Hon. P. I raser) tins morning, wiien his attention was called to an announcement made over the Daventry Empire wireless station to the following effect: —“It has been announced that New Zealand has offered a f ully equipped division for service in any part ot the world. The message reads: ‘We stand or fall together in war or j>eace, defeat or victory. The Chief ot the General Staff in New Zealand has ordered simultaneously mobilisation in New Zealand and London for this force.’” “This is nothing more than a weekold belated condensation of mv remarks in the" House,” said Mr Fraser. “It is simply a condensation of that statement that all our resources are at the disposal of the United Kingdom. The position has not changed since I made that statement to Parliament.”
