CANADIAN WHEAT. Exports of Canadian wheat and wheat flour during the crop year 1938-39. which ended on .July 31, are expected to amount, to the equivalent of 160,000,000 bushels as compared with 92.957,047 bushels in tho preceding crop year. Canadian Cheese Production. Cheese production in Canada in the first six months of 1939 amounted to 40,147,0711 b, an increase of 7.4 per cent over the corresponding period of 1933. Higih Yield of Wheat. A yield of 112 bushels of wheat an acre from a field of seven and a-haif acres, reported this year by Mr J. Grant, near Otautau, Southland, has boon fully established by' the Wheat Research Institute.
