LABOUR AIEAIBERS OF COMMONS
LONDON, Sept. 8. The Labour Opposition has appointed a number of front-bench members of the House of Commons to act as liaison officers between the party and the Service and Information Ministries. The members chosen are those who, in the event of a Labour Cabinet, might well be expected to bold portfolios in the departments to which they are now attached. These are as follow: Admiralty, Air A. Y. Alexander; Air, Dr Hugh Dalton; AVar, Mr H. B. Lees-Smith; Information, Mr . P. J. Noel-Baker. The task of each is to maintain the closest contact with the department to which he is attached in order that Labour members of the House of Commons may be kept constantly and adequately informed.
