A strange pet is owned by a railway section man at Baintree, near Edmonton, Alberta. This pet is a full grown porcupine answering to the name of “Porky” and is respected by man and beast throughout the community. “Porky” was adopted’when only one day old after its mother had been killed by a train; and was first- *• fed with an eye-dropper.
