The winner of the Stableford competition, which was played by members of the Buckley Club on Saturday, w f as L. Edwards with 34 points. Other good scores handed in were: F. Perry 33, F. Picard 31. J. Alabey 31 and McSweeney 30 points. A team from the club journeyed to Oroua Downs on Sunday, when they' suffered defeat, at the hands of the home team by 14 games to 9.
