RUGBY FOOTBALL.
RAILWAY GAMES. In a match for the Morgan Cup played at Palmerston North over the week-end, the local railway Rugby football team beat Napier by 8 points to 3. Ryan scored two tries, and H. Carr converted one for the home fifteen, Smith touching down for Napier. By beating Wanganui and Taihape in the southern section of the tournament, the Palmerston North team has placed itself in the final, which will be played at Taihape on August 27 against Ohakune.
