FILM PROGRAMMES.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I think “Equality’s” suggestion that the star film should be shown, early in the programme is excellent. If picture theatre managers would consent to make this change in their afternoon programmes I am sure it would be much appreciated by many dairy-farmers, who liave no chance of seeing the good films as they are always in the second half of the programme. So far as going to the pictures at night is concerned, farmers who live some distance from town do not feel keen about that, as they usually have to be out chasing the cows before daylight next morning.—l am, etc., • INTERESTED.
