AIOSP CLASSES DECLINE. POSITION OF DAIRY COWS. Decreases in all Dominion figures, except total cattle and sheep shearings, are revealed by- the annual livestock statistics, published in the July Official Abstraict. It is rather significant that, while other classes of stock have shown fluctuations since 1935, dairy, cows,. both dry and iu milk, have declined progressively since 1935. when the Dominion tital was 1,952,094, compared with 1,853,713, the figure at January’ 31 last. SYDNEY ONION PRICES. SYDNEY. Aug. 16. A substantial shipment of onions from the South Island of New Zealand arrived here to-day. The agents described them as extra choice, for which the price has been fixed at £25 a ton, tax free.
