ARDUOUS VOYAGE.

AUCKLAND, Aug. 16. ■ Diverted to Auckland on her voyage from Sydney to Norfolk (Virginia) to land her second engineer, who was suffering from a serious internal complaint and to enable an inspection to he made of a fault in the vessel’s propeller shafting, the American motorship Tampa reached Auckland to-night. The ship, forced to resort to low speeds to “nurse” the shaft, met weather of gale strength off the Dominion coast and was considerably delayed.
