PRESENTATION.
At the Weraroa Boys’ Training Farm on Tuesday night a social was held in order to farewell Mr J. O’Sullivan, formerly of Palmerston North, who has filled the position of acting-manager nt the farm for some weeks, and Mrs O’Sullivan. They have since returned to Palmerston North. The manager (Mr C. E. Peck) made appreciative reference to the service given during his time at the institution, and to the help he personally had received since his arrival as manager. A presentation of a wall mirror was made to Mr and Mrs O'Sullivan by one of the boys. Acknowledgment of the gift was made by Mr O’Sullivan, who commented that the experience he had gained at the farm would be. of great value to him in future child welfare work. The manager was imbued with very high ideals and the institution should prosper under his guidance.
