SUPREME COURT.
Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 11. James George Williamson, . who was convicted last week of the illegal use of an instrument, was sentenced this morning to reformative detention for a period of two years. A motion for a new trial on the ground of misdirection of the jury and that the verdict was against the weight, of evidence was filed by prisoner’s counsel.
