To-morrow night a children’s poster ball will be held in the Coronation Hall,' Terrace End, to raise funds for St. Peter’s Scouts jamboree fund. Tile, evening will be a novel one and the children will be t dressed representing any Palmerston North . firm or any New Zealand product, and ' patrons can be assured of an entertaming evening. Wellington hotels have abolished the “shout” on the house. Counter-lunch has been retained. The minimum price of beer is Cd per glass or handle. —Press Association.
