A meeting of ehainiien and secretaries of the Feikling'and district calf pools was lipid in Feikliug yesterday afternoon, j\lr H. V. Benge, Aorangi. presiding. Tlie purpose of the meeting was to discuss various organisation details. Mr C. S. Stubbs representing agents handling pool products was also present. On Friday afternoon Sir U. Rich-'
unison, president of the Fcilding branch of tho Farmers' Union, explained to Mcsclames H. Boatson and H. E. Jiockon (representatives of the W.D.F.U.) tho amount of money required for the Hitchman's Corner memorial trough. The matter will bo discussed at tho next meeting of the Women's Division and arrangements completed for the work to be put in hand. Miss A. Sumner and Mr H. Itobcrtshawe, who are leaving the employ of tlio N.S2. Farmers' Co-op. Dist. Coy., Ltd., Fcilding, were met by tho management and staff and presented with a navy handbag and leather suit case, respectively, the general manager (Mr W. Coulso'n Fowler) wishing them success in their new positions. The opportunity was also taken to do honour to Sir 1). Kerr, who is shortly to l>e married. Ho was handed a crystal salad bowl as a gift for his new home. Mr J. Gordon Kliott also spoke and endorsed the general manager's remarks concerning the efficiency and popularity of the employees concerned.
