BASKETBALL.
MATCHES WITH TE KAWAU. Two teams representing tlio Feilding Basketball Association journeyed to Kongotea. on Saturday for matches against To Kawau, and in each instance the Te Kawau representatives inflicted defeat upon the visitors. The Feilding A team lost by 23 goals to 11, and the B team were defeated bv 19 goals to 1-1. After the games the- visitors were entertained at afternoon tea, and IMi.ss Ngaire Williamson, on behalf of the Feilding teams, expressed thanks for the hospitality accorded and for the enjoyable games. Miss J. Glasgow (Te Kawau) acknowledged the remarks, and said her association was always happy to receive a visit from Feilding. The selectors of the To Kawau teams agreed to play a return match at Eeilding some time during'August.
