COMPROMISE REACHED.
DAVIS CUP TIE. NEvTyORK, July 28. It is announced that the Davis Chip tie between Australia and Cuba is being played at Seabright instead of Montreal, commencing on August 10. The Cubans did not want to play at Montreal ami the Australians refused to play at Havana, so they effected a compromise.
