SOUTHERN HAWKE’S BAY.
ANOTHER HEAVY FALL. Per Pro??; Association. DANXEVrPKE, Jnlv 31. _ Another heavy fall of snow in Southern Hawko's Bay occurred this morning in Dannevirke and started between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. and kept falling for about five hours, a maximum of 3iu falling throughout the district. Thc_ fall was considerably heavier, from oin to Gin and more in Norsewood, OrmondvOle, Makotuku, Tataramoa, and from Sin elsewhere. Koad transport is difficult, especially on the stretch three miles south of Norsewood where many cars were held up.
