TYROLESE INDIGNANT
REMOVAL TO REICH. LAST FOREIGNERS LEAVE. LIKELY AXIS OBJECTS. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received July 18, 9.25 a.m. PARIS, July 17. The last of the foreigners to leave the South Tyrol declare that no doubt their “notices to quit” were due to German and Italian fears that they might foment the already increasing indignation of the Tyrolese against their removal to the Reich. Some foreigners also believe that vital war industries will l>e started in the Tyrol because of its inaccessibility for ’planes. It also may be fortified to prevent the advance of the French army in war-time.
