FROM A CARDEN PARTY APPEARANCE TO A BEAR CARDEN.—One of the highlights of Londons social season, the Harrow-Eton match at Lord's cricket ground provided an amazing scene on Saturday, when Harrow beat Eton for the first time in thirty-one years. A riot started among the old boys, who were later joined by the Present day pupils. Bleeding noses, blackened eyes and torn frocks were the result.
