Although tho request of the Borough Council to the Justice Department to remove the picket fence around the Magistrate’s Court property did not meet with approval, it is understood that tho council proposes to approach the department again later in the matter. In the meantime justice remains secluded, commented tho Mayor (Afr T. L. Seddon) in moving that the letter be received at tho recent council meeting. The high hedge in front of the police property adjoining the Court property has been cut down to a height of about two feet. Heavy rain was experienced throughout' Sunday night in Feilding. and yesterday morning it was still falling.
