BERLIN DENIES REPORT
RUMOUR OE ASSASSINATION
LONDON, July 16
Unofficial reports received in London says that Field-Marshal Goenng (Reich Air Minister) was wounded in the left arm in an attempt on Ins file at Berlin on the morning of W ednesdav Inst. „ r The reports are denied by Berlin, also bv the German Embassy in' London, but they persist in Warsaw and The first news of the attempted assassination was received in \\ arsaw from a deserter from the German Armv. He alleged that there was open hostility between Marshal Goenng and Dr. Goebbels (Reich Propaganda Minister) regarding Danzig.
