Then, partnered bv Aliss Alice Marble, she won the doubles final. beating Airs King and Aliss Harvcv, 6—3, 3—G, 6—l. ’i'lie brilliance of Aliss Nicboll’s play has been referred to on several occasions in the “Evening Standard’s” lawn tennis notes. A very promising future has been predicted for her.
