GATE TAKINGS EXCEED £350
With the R'aie taking’s exceeding- £350, success attended the first day of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association’s Winter Show on Saturday, there being- a splendid public patronage, despite the dull and uninviting weather. Conditions were not very unfavourable, however, until a heavy shower of rain late in the afternoon brought a keener edge to the coldness which was setting in, and it was decidedly chilly for the evening session.
