June S Steps arc being taken to put into force the new British policy for Palestine in those particulars in respect of which immediate action is possible. An Order-in-Council, coni erring upon the High Commissioner (Sir Harold MaoMiehael) authority among other things to prohibit or regulate transfers of land as between Arabs and Jews, was published some days ago, and it is expected that details of the regulations drawn up under these powers, which will date Irom May li, will lie announced shortly.
