Air AY. G. Shannon, of Newbury, and Air W. J. Gimblett, of Hastings (who is president of the New Zealand Southdown Society), left last night for Melbourne and Sydney on a business tour which is expected to last six weeks.

In the sudden death on Thursday of All' Alax Heimann, the Jewish community of Wellington, of which he was president, loses one of its most esteemed members.
