PERSONAL.
Mrs R. TT. Fahey is a Feilding visitor to Wellington. Mr and Mrs K. H. Thomas, of Cunninghams, are visiting Wellington. Cr. ft. G. Stewart was granted two months’ leave of absence at the meeting of the Oroua County Council on Tlfursday, he having intimated that he is leaving shortly on a trip to the South Island.
At a meeting of the Oroua Rugby Sub-Union the opportunity was taken bv the chairman (Mr Shannon) to appoint Mr J. Watt, one of the oldest delegates, a life member. In speaking of the valued services rendered by Mr Watt to tlie sub-union the chairman said . that it gave him great pleasure to be able to hand Mr Watt a suitably engraved life member’s badge.
