STILL AT COCOS.
GUBA FLYING-BOAT. Received Juno 9, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, June 8. The flying-boat Guba, which is on a survey flight across the Indian Ocean from Australia, is still at Cocos Island. Tim crew of the plane are guests of the Governor and the ouitei of Island (Sir Clunies Loss). The American personnel of the Guba declare that Cocos is far superior to Wake Island as ari airbase. AVako Island, little more than a coral reef which lies not 10ft above the ocean level, is used as an air base by I an-Ameri-can Airways. The China Clipper, on the journey both to and from Bong kong and Sn,n Francisco, calls at Wake Island, JVlidway Island aijd Honolulu.
