FATAL INJURIES
ELECTRICAL LINESMAN. ACCIDENT NEAR PAIIIATUA. Per Press Association. PAIIIATUA, June 9. Falling from a power pole after coming in contact witli an 11,000-volt line when working on a new line at Ponguroa, late yesterday afternoon, John McAlister White, aged 20, an unmarried linesman, employed by the Tararua Power Board, received injuries from which he died in the Paliiatua Hospital at 2.30 this morning. Deceased was brought to the hospital at 9 p.m. yesterday. He was' unconscious, hot rallied; however, he died later.
