SYDNEY WOOL SALES.
PRICES VERY FIRM. SYDNEY, June 8. At the Sydney wool tales to-day 6930 bales were offered, of which 5652 were sold at auction: also 635 hides were disposed of privately. Competition was strong and general with prices very firm. Greasy Merino made to 17d. Average prices for the fir«=t three days this week arc £lO 17* 5d a bale, or 8d a lb.
