A sentence of six months’ hard labour was imposed by His Honour Mr,Justice- Smith on a Maori, Solomon AY bite, aged 21, in the Supreme Court at Gisborne on two charges of a serious nature. It was revealed that prisoner had previously been before the Court and had been admitted to probation for a similar offence.— Press Association.
