AUSTRALIAN LOAN.
NOT EIGHT RECEPTION. At ARK FT UN EASINESS. Received. Juno 8, 8.5 a.ill. LONDON, June 7. The lists of the Australian loan will open at 1t.30 a.m. to-day. Apparently the loan is not getting the reception ■at first expected. Herr Hitler’s speech yesterday revived cautiousness and investors are again preferring to keep out of the market. The decline in gilt-edged securities. moreover, is accentuated by the soiling from the Continent where uneasiness about the international situation is reviving. A later message states that bii'iness on the stock markets is almost at a standstill.
