OLYMPIC GAMES
JAPAN’S END FAVOUR. Received June 8. 9.30 a.m. TOKIO, June 7. The Japanese Olympic Games Committee has decided to try to get the 1944 Games for Tokio. The Mayor of Tokio has cabled the Olympic Games Committee, which is meeting in London, saying that Tokio greatly regretted being unable to stage the 1940 Games.
