MUSIC SOCIETY.
At the monthly meeting of the Feilding branch of the British Alusie Society owing to the inclement weather, there was a smaller attendance than usual. Those present included Alesdames Al. Andrews, J. G. Eliott, b. J. Wild. [,. Al. T. Wotton, A. b. Dixon, D. Hay, AY. A. Sandilands. AN. IN. Kendall, A. B. Fanner, A. AY. Taylor, 0. AYliceler. K. If. Dowrick, Alisses G. P. Prochard, tv. Blanchett. B. Eliott, Af. Garrett, A. Fade, F. Gray. I). AYliitehead, A'. Smithers, G. Humphreys, J. AA'are. B. AYnre, Alessrs AY. B. Kendall. A. B. Farmer. A. IN. Dixon. H. Fleetwood. Air b. J. AYiid who generously invited the members of the British Afusic Society to hear his Carnegie phonograph and records is fortunate in having in his possession a thousand records, including most, of the famous operas. The reading of the play “lolnuthe,” which was well rendered by Alesdames AN. A. Sandilands, and A. b. Dixon, was interspersed with full recordings. The host and hostess were Rev. A. b. Dixon and Airs Dixon, while the supper arrangements were in the capable hands of Aliases G. Humphreys and K. Blanchett.
