CHINESE BOY’S ADOPTION. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 7. The Kaikohe District High School adopted a Chinese hoy at the beginning of the year, providing a home and" the money required for Jiis education. Air Elliott informed the Education Board at to-day’s meeting that the boy was seven years old. Ho had speedily adapted himself to Ids new environment, had learnt to speak English, to he equal with the others in the class and had also acquired a smattering of Afaori. His progress was regarded as remarkable.
