BIG CONCENTRATIONS. MEDITERRANEAN ZONE. ANGLO-FRENCH MOVEMENT. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Cop vrigh t.) Received April 18, 12 noon. LONDON. April 17. Almost the entire British Mediterranean Fleet is in the neighbourhood of Malta, including the aircraft-carrier Glorious, six cruisers, 89 destroyers, seven submarines, six torpedo boats. 10 minesweepers, six depot ships, one escort ship, one net-layer, and one mine-layer.
A Gibraltar message says the French warships at Gibraltar now total thirteen. They comprise two battleships, three cruisers and eight destroyers. The Terrible and the Fautasque are patrolling the Straits. The destroyers Boulonnais, Foudroyant and Brestois have arrived.
