RIFLE SHOOTING

KIWITEA ASSOCIATION. On Saturday riflemen competed on the Kinibolton range in the annual fixture controlled by the Kiwitca Rifle Association. Ideal conditions prevailed, although the. light became poor towards the close of the ttliernoon. Good scores were registered, that of J. Paterson, a veteran riflunan front Wanganui Club, being notable, at 104 out of a possible of 105. Catering arrangements were carried out by the members of the Kiniboitoii branch of the Women’s Institute, tinder the direction of Mrs Barnieoat. At the end of the day's shooting the championship bell was presented by Mr A. Stackhouse. Details;—
