Tt was thought that when Lord Kitchener returned from India he would ho given the task of devising, in co-operation with the Governments of the overseas States, a scheme for consolidating all the land forces of the Empire into a homogeneous army and providing it with a mobilisation plan for use should a great war break out.
It had been decided to retain the name of Weraroa for tho new post office at Levin.
