LONDON, April 16.
The Opposition Leader (Mr C. R. Attlee) characterised President Roosevelt’s Note as a most valuable initiative. He added that the Labour Party would fully support the suggested conference. Air Lloyd George said that the Note was a magnificent and momentous appeal to reason. The American Ambassador (Air .). P. Kennedy), who is a guest at Windsor Castle for the week-end, discussed the Note with His Alajcsty.
