PICNIC AT ASHHURST.
KIA TOA RUGBY CLUB
A most enjoyable picnic was held by the Ivin Toa Rugby Football Club at Aslihurst, yesterday, when a large number of members and supporters attended. Following are the results of the various events: — E. A. ALcKenzic Sports Cup (for annual competition).—Place kicking: IT. Carr L, Sievert 2. Alouldev 3. Drop kicking: Hampton I. Barnao 2, Thorne 3. Line kicking: Thorne 1. H. Carr 2. Mouldc.y 3. Throwing football: Alouldev 1, H. Carr 2. Thorne 3. 110 yds: Hampton 1, Thorne 2, Carr 3. 50yds: Hampton 1. H. Carr 2. Thorne 3. IT. Carr and L. Hamilton will share the eup with' 15 points each, L. Thorne being third with 11 points and IT. Afouldey fourth with seven. Other events resulted:— Single ladies’ 75vds.—Aliss R. Wilson 1. ATiss A. AVilson 2, Aliss AT. Benfell 3. Married ladies’ 50yds: Airs Ash I. Airs Rollerson 2. Airs Heatlov 3. Three-legged race: ATrs Ash and Hampton 1, Aliss A. AVilson and Kilpatrick 2.
