(From Our Own Correspondent.) OPIKT, April 16. Misses Elaine Larsen and Fdna Chadburn, of Wellington, were the guests of Miss Leone Larsen for the holidays. Mrs C. Alters, accompanied by Miss .T, Akers, left- for Auckland on Saturday. T‘'ey null later visit- the Bay of Islands. Visitors to Mr and Mrs O. Marriott during the weekend were Mr and Mrs F. Ilay. Lower Hutt: Mr and Mrs A. Ilay and family, of Potone; Mr S. Hawkins and Miss Horrcn Free, of Wellington. Mr and Mrs F. Paget have returned from a motor tour of the north. Miss Vera Sadd was a visitor for the holidays. Welcome rain fell on Sunday and was most appreciated by the farming community. Unfortunately, 'the fall was very light, being little more than a drizzle, so tank supplies are still in need of replenishing.
