MORE PERMITS DESERVED
MANAWATU TROTTING CLUB. The opinion that the time had arrived when the Maiiawatu (trotting Club should be granted two extra permits was expressed by Mr J. A. Nash at the first day of the club’s annual meeting on Saturday, when lie presented the trophy donated by the president (Mr W. K. Mouldey) for the owner of the winner of the Cup. The additional permits, stated Mr Nash, were no more than the club’s due, with (lie excellent facilities, wonderful surroundings and busy centre where it raced, and lie wished members success ill this direction and all future activities.
