ANGLO-SOVIET TRADE.
NEW PACT NEGOTIATIONS. DIFFERENCES REDUCED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 27. At tho conclusion of the talks between Mr It. S. Hudson (Parliamentary Secretary to tho Board of Overseas Trade) and Soviet trade leaders, the present trade relations of Britain and Russia and tho possibilities of their further development were thoroughly discussed. Both parties made clear their respective positions and a number of essential differences were revealed, which presumably can bo reduced to a minimum during further negotiations in London. A friendly exchange of views occurred concerning international policy, serving mutually to acquaint both parties with their Government’s attitude and bringing out points of contact. The personal contacts established will doubtless assist in the consolidation of Anglo-Soviet relations. It was agreed that negotiations for a new trade pact should open in London as soon as possible.
