HEALTH OFFICERS CONFER. WELLINGTON, March 29. Thq procedure in connection noth the health side of the social security scheme was discussed at a conference in Wellington yesterday of medical officers of health from all parts of New Zealand and the principal executive officers of the Department of Health. The opportunity was taken to explain those phases of the scheme which would come into operation within the next month or so. The Minister of Health (Hon. P. Fraser) visited the conference in tho afternoon and gave a brief address. He said he hoped that conferences of medical officers of health would be a feature of health administration of the future, because the pooling of experiences and tho exchange of ideas were a most valuable asset.
