TWO VALUABLE TROPHIES.
TROTTING CLUB DONATIONS. Since the Manawatu Trotting Club’s programme has been issued two valuable trophies have been presented to the club for its annual trotting meeting to be held at Awapuni on April 15 and 19. The president (Mr W. Mouldey) has donated an old English pewter tea set and tray, comprising in all five pieces, and this trophy will go to owners of the winner of the Manawatu Trotting Cup. Mr A. Macdonald, a vice-president of the club, is donating a crystal set to go to the owner of the winner of the George Luoni Memorial Handicap, which is tho big race on the second day.
