AIRCRAFT FOR DOMINION.
MANUFACTURE AT RONGOTAI. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 28. An announcement was made this afternoon that aircraft will bo manufactured at Rongotai, production being reached in about nine months’ time. Major A. Murray Jones, a director of the De Ilavilland Aircraft Coy., who arrived to-day, stated that the manager of the local factory would reach Wellington on April 14, and that Tiger Moths and Moth Minors would he built. The former machines were for training purposes and the latter for private owners. Air Jones said that tlio factory would be between the two large hangars at Rongotai, and that the cost of the machines would bo about British parity. Key men would be imported, and others would be trained.
